We run courses on everything from woodworking and pottery to digital photography and creative writing. Basically, if it's something you've always wanted to try but never got around to, we probably have it. Our catalog changes seasonally, so there's always something new popping up. Check our main site for the current lineup—or better yet, call us at +27 01 250 6104 and we'll tell you what's running this month.
Price varies depending on the course. A basic 4-week intro class might run you one price, while a 12-week intensive is different. We keep things reasonable because we're not trying to bankrupt you over a hobby. Most courses fall between R850 and R2,400. Payment plans exist too. Email info@launchcourses.co.za with questions about a specific course and we'll break down the exact cost.
Courses run on rolling schedules throughout the year. Some start every month, others quarterly. Generally, joining mid-way isn't ideal—you'll miss foundation stuff. But we don't turn people away outright. Contact us before enrolling if you're late to the party, and we'll figure out if it makes sense. Better to start fresh though, honestly.
We get it. Sometimes a class isn't what you thought. You've got 14 days from enrollment to decide it's not for you. Full refund, no arguments. After that window closes, though, the policy gets stricter—we'll offer course credits instead. Life happens. Just reach out quickly if you need to bail.
Nope. We run beginner courses specifically for people who don't know the first thing about their chosen hobby. That's kind of the point. If you can show up and follow along, you're qualified. Our instructors are used to teaching complete rookies. Bring curiosity and willingness to mess up. Everything else we'll cover.
Three options. One: fill out the online form on our site and pay there. Two: call us directly at +27 01 250 6104 and we'll walk you through it over the phone. Three: swing by our spot at 42 Jan Smuts Avenue, Polokwane, Mpumalanga, 3818 and sign up in person. You'll get confirmation within 48 hours. Done.
Depends on the course. Pottery? We've got clay and equipment here. Photography? Bring your camera or use one of ours. Jewelry making? Most supplies are included in your course fee. We'll send you a detailed list once you're enrolled telling you exactly what to have on hand. Don't stress about buying stuff before checking with us first.
We're based in Polokwane and run in-person classes from our location. That's where the real learning happens—hands-on, face-to-face, getting actual feedback.
